Best. DefenseCon. Ever. Mostly because I arrived via command module which I think is extremely practical and not just a gimmick as per recent comments. Cant wait until 2 years from now when 1/3 of the bugs are semi-fixed 👍

Hi @TheExpanseRPG how long do you expect to keep the Collector's Edition ($289) available for sale? I want to purchase it but I'm still waiting for some more gameplays and details on the game as plenty of pre-orders come with high risk. I expect nothing but quality from you but still been hesitant. But then, I don't want to miss that opportunity to be one of Founders and getting awesome Collector's Edition :) Thanks in advance for your reply.

@SpaceTomatoGG If solo players are being scared off from the MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER ONLINE GAME it is not a great loss. If they're being scared off from it while it's bending over backwards to give them even more gameplay, it's even less of a loss.

I realize I'm against the grain in thinking that Star Citizen is still trying to be a good game for solo players. I think it must be obvious to them that many people play solo, but not EVERYTHING can be available to everybody. But this belief is pervasive. What do you think?

At present, there's little visual indication of a ship's status on a ship's interior. Things will look fine, and then the ship just explodes. We need a visual build up in damage on a ship's interior as it progresses to a critical state, giving players an accurate sense of urgency. When shields go down and armor starts taking damage, it should automatically put the ship into alert mode. As the hull takes damage, sparks should start flying from paneling, and display distortion/static should get worse. Audio SFX like hull groans should get progressively more frequent and audible as a hull reaches critical health. The alert should change in speed when an immanent critical failure is triggered, with an audible alert and accompanied countdown. Players should be able to tell the ship is in a bad state without needing to look at an engineering loadout - and even there, it should give more visual SFX indication of critical status. Engineering highlights a lot of missing polish that I hope the talented teams over at CIG can tackle soon to make it a more cinematic experience! @RobertsSpaceInd

Initial engineering will be a shitshow, accept this & remain calm, we've endured many a shitshow that irons out to tolerable levels of fannying around. Shp X will stay broken for weeks, months, maybe even all year, accept this fact. Remain calm Breaks are healthy #StarCitizen
