@mountainwesttax The best mountain dining is the one you eat off slope, tucked between the trees with a killer view and no one around. Usually a packed cold one and sandwich (or heated Campbels in a thermos if you fancy)

I don't want to alarm Utah Ikon skiers but imagine how many of these Epic pass holders will moving to Ikon next season...

@SnowPalsDotOrg @skimagonline Nope….this is the comp, dont like it, work elsewhere…dont show up, you are fired-too expensive to live and ski for free here, do it somewhere else….and to be clear I hate everything about Vail and their holdings, wont spend a penny at their locations

“We believe that the $725M in stock buybacks and $863M in cash dividends over the last three fiscal years (a total of $1.59B) could be more equitably shared between the investors who passively accumulate wealth and the workforce whose labor make this financial prosperity possible.”
Parker Malatesta@p_malatesta
The ski patrol unions at Park City, Breckenridge, Crested Butte and Keystone sent the following letter to Vail Resorts CEO Kirsten Lynch

@NotRobbieHummel Come to park city. You can wait in a 3hr line and ski 15% of the mountains in greens.

@annbauerwriter @mitchpberg Do you not remember the covid stimulus package? Pepperidge farms remembers.
English

@mitchpberg But I'm talking everything - homeowners, auto, health.
Everything skyrocketed at once. It's unsustainable.

@mikebolen You will lose the "miles" or loyalty points for that flight. Also repeat offenders are banned from the airline.
If you do it, tell ur next gate so they don't page 400x and delay plane. Just say an emergency came up you won't be boarding and show ID.

@pandrew3 @Mitch_Harper Amateur athlete? Are you familiar with new NIL rules?
How much money is the LDS church pumping in? 🤔
English

@Mitch_Harper If you can't beat em, join em! All joking aside, I wish him the best. This is a new time for student/amateur athletes. The fans will have to adapt to a more professional style of college athletics.

@utah4truth @txsalth2o @CatrionaCgx Deer valley has been sold out 27-1st for months. Unless they are over 65 or under 6.
English

@txsalth2o @CatrionaCgx Or your sister could take the 20 minute bus ride from PC Mountain to Deer Valley . . . No need to go far.

Haha, I actually think Project Managers are safer than developers. A PM’s role goes far beyond just managing developers, especially in a consultancy setting where external parties are involved. They have to interface with both internal and external stakeholders, align expectations, and step in assertively when needed. A good modern PM (and yes, I know there are plenty of “box checkers” out there, especially in the corporate world) is much more than just a JIRA jockey. The combination of strategic thinking, people management, and adaptability they bring to the table is something AI is still far from replicating at a truly effective level. It’ll be quite a while before any AI can take over that kind of role.

@zach_lehne21643 @liftblog @PCski Assuming they work 6 months.
Csuites probably bought a bottle of wine for newyears that cost this much 😄
