We would like to congratulate our student Felix Lobemeier for being the first student to successfully complete a project module in our lab at @unibielefeld. He used P. acuta to study the research question "To what extent can personality traits impact plasticity?" Congrats, Felix!

@DenisMeuthen is also interested in visual ecology, toxicology and personality research. His main model system now is the cosmopolitan invasive freshwater snail Physella acuta. It is easy to breed and has short generation times, allowing us to study multiple generations.

Today, in a 🧵, we would like to introduce the principal investigator of this workgroup @DenisMeuthen He is an evolutionary ecologist focusing on antipredator phenotypic plasticity and studies both inducing chemical cues and its evolutionary consequences in fish and snails.
