@Chaser_Tech I liked Monstrum Nox for the movement, but Lacrimosa of Dana is still the best, in my opinion.

I'm nearly done with Ys IX Monstrum Nox and right now I got a whole lot of mixed feelings about it.

@Chaser_Tech @resonmon Lacrimosa of Dana is my favorite of them all, but Oath in Felghana holds a special place in my heart, as does Ark of Napishtim since those were my first Ys games. The soundtracks are fucking jammers, though.

@resonmon Got these so far. I'm missing two other games on steam, along with Nordics, but I'll probably wait for a sale to get Nordics. I'd grab Ys: Memories of Celceta and Ys Seven but I've already spent too much on games on this sale LMAO

Finally getting back into the Ys series again. I've been going through Ys Origin, but I'll have to get Ys I and Ys II a go.

@Jessstah Dude, MGS1 at this point is damn near timeless.

Never bothered before but i think i'll fuck around and make a 2024 media thread (gonna count 2023 december to start it off) Metal Gear Solid 1 honestly holds up pretty well overall and especially the voice acting. I'm also not one for stealth games but MGS1 surprised me a lot 🍷

Remember like it was yesterday I was screaming at 3am scaring the neighbours who called the ambulance and the look on my family's face when they were told that DMC5 was real their faces were at war between laughing and yelling. Quit my job that day and decided no matter what I had to be there in Germany, and got to have so many amazing experiences. Even now from those connections I made I'm gratefully learning so much of what I struggled with for 20 years. The hype and craze was unreal and I doubt that anticipation and energy could be matched ever again in gaming.

Cleared ubers solo online with summonmancer!! Done! D2R is 100%'d. All major milestones achieved: All 5 acts/All difficulties: ✔️ Reach Level 99: ✔️ GG Gear: ✔️ Dclone: ✔️ Uber Tristram:✔️ Summon Necro is the only caster that can readily keep up with ubers. All others are melee.

@Chaser_Tech Ideally, you wouldn't pre-render like that at all as it can be difficult to predict how a second encode pass will affect that part of the video.

@Chaser_Tech Recorded media or media generated from previews? If it is just previews or some other cache, just delete those, especially if the effect you have is final or close to it. Otherwise, you could, but you should render it out at a decently high BR to mitigate encoder loss.

Has anyone worked with editing a video that's around an hour long before? I'm wondering if it's a good idea to render half of the video and put it back in my editing program because holy crap I'm sitting around 250+ gigs worth of media files for this video LOL

FF16 is basically a DMC4/5-lite and I am actually stoked AF about a non-turn based FF for once in my life!! You can even jump cancel(just once, but I'll take it).
