After watching someone solo sail yesterday for hours, I think I finally understood the appeal of absolute disconnection. So I bought a a fishing rod immediately right after 🙃. Which is bold considering my “solo sailor” identity has so far been almost entirely theoretical.

@malwhibi اشكر لك الشرح ووجهة نظرك المثرية، انا ذكرت ان الفطنة "الزايدة" تؤدي الى يقظه مرهقه ومستنزفه لكن لعلي ما اوضحت الترابط بشكل كافي.

الفطنة/الذكاء يختلفان عن اليقظة المفرطة. دائما ماأعرّف الذكاء بأنه القدرة على الربط وفهم الأنماط، وغالبًا يرتبط بفضول، نهم معرفي، دافع للاكتشاف والتعلّم. أما اليقظة فهي ردك فعل دفاعية تجعل الشخص يراقب كل شيء تحسبًا للخطر، لا حبًا بالمعرفة. الأولى توسّع الإنسان، والثانية تُرهقه.

أظنّني عبرتُ اليوم أحدَ أجملِ الطرق التي قطعتها في حياتي.. بعد الطريق الساحلي لكيب تاون، والطريق الجليدي لشامونيه طبعًا!

عن #تشييء_المرأة في سوق العمل، عن إجبارها على استخدامها كواجهة استعراضية، عن مصير الأنوثة في بعض بيئات الأعمال ،إما الطمس القاتل وإما التشييء اللاعقلاني، الغير موافق عليه. ١-بداية، التشييء مضر بالجنسين، أن يستخدم وجهك أو اسم عائلتك أو جنسك أكثر من كفاءتك الخاصة في مهمامك المسندة إليك فهذا تغييب لإنسانيتك، وتمكين لواجهتك المادية فقط، لجزئك الذي لا يشمل روحك. ٢-كلا الندائين وأد للأنوثة، نداء القتال المهني بلا هوادة ونداء طمس كل معالم الأنوثة في الذات والسلوك كي يتم الرضا عنكِ، لا هذا ولا ذاك تصرفان سليمان، أنت هي أنت، كاملة كما خلقك الله ليس لأحد سلطة تشويه وتشييء وتشكيل لذاتك. ٣-هناك سلطات موروثة وحديثة تتنازع بسط السلطة عليك، كإنسان قبل أن تكوني امرأة، السلطة العلمية، السلطة العائلية، سلطة الأعراف، سلطة من يحبك ويرغب ببقائك حوله، سلطة الأصدقاء الذين يبقونك معهم ومثلهم بلطف أو بنقد، استعيدي سلطتك الذاتية، نداء قلبك، انصتي لك إن شعرت أنك تشيئين داخل قصة لا تعنيك، وتلعبين فيها الدور كدمية، كلما يبعدك عن صوتك الخاص سيقحمك في التمثيل والامتثال للدور، ثمن التمثيل هو الكآبة بعد انتهاء القدرة على التمثيل والامتثال. ٤- لايوجد مرجع بالتفاصيل لما يجب وما لايجب عليك فعله، المهم أن لا يملأك أحد بالعار الذي يدفعك للخجل من نعم الله وتغيير طبيعتك لارضاء سوق العمل، الأنوثة نعمة حظيت بها، وكل لوازمها ومنافعها الممتدة من أمومة ورعاية هي تاج يستحق أن تزهين به بكل فخر. ٥-لايحدث ما يحدث معك لأنك امرأة، شعور الاضطهاد يعميك عن قراءة الواقع بوضوح، ويشل قدرتك على التصرف ،حتى لو حدث ماحدث لأنك امرأة، سوق العمل لا يملك ترف نصرة المظلوم، لكنه يملك شرف مكافأة الساعي الواعي الذي يقبل الواقع ويجد داخل الطريق الواحد ألف طريق.

Your brain doesn't form the thought until you write it down. Nature Reviews Bioengineering published the case for that claim last summer in an editorial titled "Writing is thinking." The cited evidence is a 2024 EEG study at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. 36 students alternated between handwriting and typing the same words. 256-channel sensor array. Cursive on a touchscreen versus keys on a keyboard. Same words both ways. Handwriting produced widespread connectivity across parietal and central brain regions. Typing didn't. The theta and alpha frequency bands the literature ties to memory formation and encoding lit up almost exclusively when the hand was forming the letters. The motor act was producing the cognition. What the editorial extends from that finding is the more uncomfortable claim. Writing a scientific article is the mechanism by which a researcher discovers what their main message actually is. The act of constructing sentences forces the chaotic, non-linear way the mind wanders into a structured, intentional narrative. You sort years of research into a story, and in the sorting, you find out what you believe. Then the line: If writing is thinking, are we not then reading the thoughts of the LLM rather than those of the researchers behind the paper? Nature endorses LLMs for grammar, search, brainstorming, breaking through writer's block. Where the line gets drawn is outsourcing the whole writing process. Because the writing process is the thinking process. Even editing the LLM's draft is harder than writing one from scratch. To restructure someone else's reasoning you have to reconstruct it first, which means doing the cognitive work anyway, with worse leverage and more friction. The time savings on the keyboard turn out to be cognitive savings on the part of the brain you wanted to use. Your first draft was the thinking.

19-year-old American student spent his entire scholarship $2,299 on an iPad and Mac Mini. His grandma thought he was trying to hack the Pentagon. He just dropped one file into Claude and went to sleep. CLAUDE.md processed four principles. Written after Karpathy - co-founder of OpenAI - publicly broke down how AI tools actually work. In the morning the system closed tasks a junior dev would take three days to finish. Claude did it in 3 hours. Didn't touch code nobody asked it to touch. Just did exactly what it was told. 45,000 developers installed this in a week. Most of them had never heard of the file before. The iPad became his office. The Mac Mini runs while he's in class. An agency does the same thing for $15,000 a month. He pays $20. Four lines of logic. And the question is no longer "can a student compete with an agency" - but whether an agency is needed at all.

Mark Cuban just described the largest wealth transfer of the AI era. Almost nobody understood what he said. Cuban: “There are 33 million companies in this country. Aren’t going to have AI budgets. Aren’t going to have AI experts.” Not tech startups. The shoe store. The regional trucking outfit. The accounting firm with 12 employees. The businesses that actually run the physical economy. They know AI is coming. They have no idea what to do with it. Cuban: “You’ve got the head of Microsoft saying software is dead because everything’s going to be customized to your unique utilization.” Software is dead. The SaaS era ran on one rule. Build a generic product. Force millions of companies to bend their workflows around it. Charge rent forever. AI ends the contract. The business stops bending to the software. The intelligence bends to the business. But customized by whom. The third-generation manufacturer cannot tell Claude from Gemini. The county hospital is staring at a reactor asking where the light switch is. Cuban: “Who’s going to do it for them?” That question is worth more than the frontier models themselves. Hundreds of billions are being burned to build the foundation. The smartest engineers alive are locked in a bloodbath over who owns the base layer. Let them fight. Let them burn the capital. Let them drive the cost of raw intelligence toward zero. Because the wealth does not collect where the brain is built. It collects where the brain meets the business. Every ambitious kid in college right now thinks survival means a seat at OpenAI or Anthropic. Cuban is staring at the other 99 percent of the economy. Learn the models. Then learn the messy, unglamorous reality of how a 50-person company actually operates. Walk through the door. Understand their problems. Wire the intelligence directly into their revenue. That is not a job title. That is an entire economic class being born. You do not need to build the brain. You need to build the nervous system. The biggest winners of the electricity era were not the engineers who built the generators. They were the ones who walked into dark factories and showed the owners where to plug in. 33 million companies are standing in the dark right now. Silicon Valley is racing to build the god. The fortunes will belong to whoever teaches him a trade.

مستودع في قيت هب تجاوز 53.8 ألف نجمة، والسبب إنه يعالج مشكلة يومية ترفع ضغط أغلب المبرمجين. دايماً نطلب من الذكاء الاصطناعي يحل خطأ بسيط أو يكتب دالة، ونتفاجأ إنه حاس المشروع كامل. تلقاه يمسح تعليقات مهمه، يغير طريقة ترتيب الكود بدون سبب، أو يكتب لك 1000 سطر لشيء ينحل بـ 50 سطر. الباحث أندري كارباثي انتقد هالشيء وقال إن النماذج تجتهد وتخمن من راسها بدل ما تسأل لو ما فهمت. عشان كذا في مطور أخذ هذي الملاحظات وحولها لملف واحد اسمه CLAUDE.md. مجرد ما تضيفه لمشروعك، يفرض 4 قواعد صارمة لضبط أدوات المطورين: فكّر قبل تكتب: الأداة ممنوع تخمن. إذا في شيء غامض بالتاسك، توقف وتسألك لتوضيح المطلوب. البساطة أولاً: يمنع التعقيد الهندسي الزايد. الكود ينكتب عشان يحل المشكلة فقط بدون إضافات مالها داعي. تدخل جراحي: التعديل يكون على قد الطلب. ممنوع لمس الأكواد الشغالة أو الملفات اللي مالها علاقة. التنفيذ بهدف: الأداة تبني الشغل على اختبارات (Tests) واضحة وتتأكد إن الكود حقق الهدف فعلياً. هالملف يريحك من التشييك ورا النموذج ويخليه مبرمج يفهم حدوده رابط المستودع تحت👇
