I encourage anyone who considers themselves a basketball purist to watch Ausar on defense for at least three possessions. He is a one-man disruption. I think he’s already the best perimeter defender in the NBA. The Pistons anchored their run in the 2000s behind Ben Wallace. He is about to be that defensive anchor for this iteration of the Pistons.

@TaylorTwellman Deflecting doesn’t work when you shoot 26.5% from 3, open with a lineup I can only imagine is meant to accentuate that strength only to have three of those players go scoreless and Garza go statless other than personal fouls and White/Brown score 59 pts on 53 shots.
