@Britpopmemories @OCSmusic @stevecradock @DamonMinchella CD2 is hardly a shocker! Beautiful Losers and Here In My Heart are stunning. Mr Cradock playing the latter on his current tour. Was magical in Hertford last Sunday! For total content this is the best OCS single package in my view.

Happy 30th anniversary to “You’ve Got It Bad” by Ocean Colour Scene. Those b-sides on the main version of the single are some of the band’s finest work, with “Robin Hood” being a hugely important song in their history.

After the @oasis LA gig, I'm off on a road trip. In Calico, California I saw this. Totally unplanned stop, but it seems perfect to sum up the change from Ghost Town (2009-2024) to the return of Oasis. Inspired by @MicrodotCreativ. My idea for an album cover!

@scyhodotcom @oasis I hope Little by Little. Thought that was the best NG of the night. A bit slower than when he did it solo, and a lot heavier... just as it should be!

Wonder what song we are going to get from Oasis this week? My guess is it’s going to be The Masterplan as we have not had one from Noel Gallagher on vocal duties yet!

@scyhodotcom @oasis @bunnyoasis83 Tonight was really good. Best "big Oasis gig" I've seen by miles... didn't quite top Shepherd's Bush on the 10th anniversary tour. Liam's voice exceptional. Band seemed to be genuinely enjoying it. Favourite bit was Bonehead being encouraged to sing! Amazing night.

Later today Oasis will play the fifth of seven sold out concerts at Wembley Stadium in London. Who's going? What you drinking? What Oasis t-shirt you wearing?

@MicrodotCreativ If you're at LA gig on the Sunday night, maybe see you there! I imagine this is a massive long shot, but you never know!

@oasiscentral_ Wonder if it means we'll get a "noel bit" or whether it'll all be mixed. I don't care, but a classic noel acoustic bit where he can mix up tunes per gig would be a bit special.

@OasisPodcast If I remember, it was Capital or BBC R1 who had the exclusive first play, and didn't they play the full edit twice, straight up? 14 mins of glorious mayhem... and then the b-sides. Wow. What a collection of tracks. Magical times.

Remember hearing it on the radio for the first time as if it was yesterday. Most powerful reaction to a song on first listen I possibly ever had
Rhys Llwyd@rhysllwyd

Doing a deep dive into the @oasis back catalogue ahead of the big day. Still hilarious that in 1997 they dropped a lead single that was over SEVEN minutes long like that was a totally sane idea. D’You Know What I Mean? Course you don’t. No one did. @OasisPodcast

@Britpopmemories @MaxiGonzalez_23 That's an interesting take. I doubt we'll get any ultra deep cuts... but many of the classics were b-sides. I can't imagine many UK people seeing them for the first time won't know Masterplan, Acquiesce, Talk Tonight or Half The World Away. Angel Child, fair point!

@MaxiGonzalez_23 This tour is a tricky one, do they aim it at the original fans who will want deep cuts and b/sides as well as some classics, or do they aim it the huge numbers of young fans who've never seen them and will want all classics like Wonderwall, DLBIA, etc?

I'll never understand why Oasis didn't play Rock 'n' Roll Star on Maine Road or Knebworth. What other song do you think would be a mistake not to play on this new tour?

Happy Birthday to Mechanical Wonder, the fifth studio album from @OCSmusic released on this day in 2001. In at number 7 in the UK charts, I really love the album, especially the opening song Up on the Downside!

Happy 30th birthday to the EP “Taxi For These Animal Men” by These Animal Men. I’m a big fan of this, my favourite track is “Human Remains”. Who else is a fan?

My cousin is from Leicestershire and is a massive Green Day fan. This week she’s in Japan to see them play. That’s dedication to the gig life!!! Living near London all my life I rarely go far to be honest. What’s the furthest you’ve ever gone for a gig?
