We were honoured to pay a courtesy visit recently to @URAuganda to engage with the @URA_CG Mr. Johnson Rujoki Musinguzi, on matters of mutual importance to Uganda’s economic growth. We were pleased to host leaders from the Uganda Taxi Operators Federation (UTOF) at our Kampala Depot, giving them a firsthand look at how fuel is tested, stored and distributed before reaching customers. The visit highlighted the systems that safeguard the quality of Shell fuels across Uganda.

As a heartwarming gesture, we have rewarded Night Ampurire, a resident of Entebbe, with a year’s supply of fuel and vehicle servicing for her brand-new double cabin vehicle, ensuring her new vehicle remains in top condition and her business continues to thrive. Night’s story, which gained widespread attention after being covered by the @ntvuganda (@KamanaIvan ), highlighted her struggles as she relied on an old, dilapidated car to run her fruit-selling business. @mtnug stepped in and donated a new vehicle to Night, transforming her business and ensuring she could continue supporting her family. #KigweraKuShell #VivoEnergyUganda

Our MD, Johan Grobbelaar, last evening hosted a heartwarming Iftar for our Muslim staff at @KampalaSheraton. With the Country Leadership team and staff from different departments in attendance, it was a truly momentous gathering. "Assaalamu alaikum," Johan greeted, congratulating our staff on successfully concluding Ramadan.
