My extended family has been thrown into a hellish nightmare. My nephew and his wife, who live in Boston, just had their two sons taken from them in the middle of the night by CPS. Their sons are 6 months old, and 3 1/2. A baby and a toddler, the baby still nursing.

@MECadet1 @designmom In the contrary THIS is not everyone’s reality!! Sometimes kids are removed that shouldn’t be! Each case is unique.

@designmom That’s not the whole story. In order for children to be removed on an emergency basis, which the law allows, there must be a valid reason. Family is always considered first for placement unless there’s an issue with their background check. Things are not always as it seems

Overturning Roe and outlawing abortions will never make them go away. It only makes them more dangerous, especially for the poor + marginalized. People will die because of this decision. And we will never stop until abortion rights are restored in the United States of America.
