@humanharshad @framer I wasted a good hour with something similar thinking I didn't even knew how to make a button fit content anymore. The sollution - text style was set to ballance. Just disabled it and it solved. Hope it helps!

@ByRabeh @framer I also got one of these a while back. Not gonna lie, i hurts, haha! But it made me realize I wasn't ready yet and I still had a lot to learn to be able to ship something solid. Now I'm almost halfway through my template, but this email helped me a lot.

Really cool!
I built something similar a few weeks ago and I realized having a play/pause button (or maybe even a previous/next and counter indicator) can help the users experience to read the text before the progress bar fills and move on to the next item.

This Auto Progress Accordion is featured in my latest Framer template, Lumae I am building.
Its a component that can:

Indeed.
People don't need "just a template", they need a solution and an outcome.
At the same time is hard to find the sweetspot between creating something that "plays safe" and its outstanding on its own while still being commercial enough.
Do you have any tips for a template based business or do you think custom taylored work will outgrow the templates?

those template success stories were timing, not formula, and copying the formula in 2026 just adds one more generic kit to a flooded market. the real opening now is templates with an actual point of view

Many people entered the Framer template space because of success stories. To be fair, some of them were real. One of my components, Charts for Framer, alone made over $20k, which is probably more than many template creators ever make from templates. But what people rarely talk about is how much timing mattered: - Early Framer, - Less competition, - Different algorithms, - Pre-AI saturation, and a completely different market environment because of AI. As AI keeps lowering the barrier to making templates, reproducing those same success stories now takes far more effort than people expect. That’s why I think creators should spend less time chasing old formulas and more time figuring out where the current market gaps actually are.

Someone on @contra is claiming our original @framer template as their own work, despite the license clearly not allowing redistribution or ownership claims.
Free to use doesn’t mean free to steal.

@marques_luscas Of course! It's not a problem; you can use any component, as many as you need. The issue arises because many components don't perfectly match the template's style, that's why many prefer to create them from scratch

Question for people already building and selling templates on the Framer Marketplace:
Is it acceptable to use marketplace components inside templates, or do we need to build every interaction/component from scratch?
Genuinely curious how the reviewers approaches this.
