The family of slain pharmacist Nomzila Madinane (27) says her life had allegedly been threatened before she was murdered — reportedly by a former partner.
Nomzila was shot dead alongside her cashier Melissa Sbanda after gunmen stormed her newly opened pharmacy in KwaNyuswa, Hillcrest.
Further reports reveal that the security guard has also now succumbed to injuries in hospital, bringing the death toll to three.
Police have not yet confirmed whether the alleged threats are linked to the murder, and no arrests have been made.
