It is with the heaviest of hearts that Cowboy Jamboree has learned of the passing of Sheldon Lee Compton last night. We know how many of you knew him & loved his work. He was a talent like no other. We're heartbroken for Sheldon and his kin. He was a giant. He will be missed.

My six-year-old’s music teacher in school was explaining something to the class with a scenario of two characters on the board, Bob and Dylan. My son raised his hand to inform his music teacher that there’s actually a really great musician named Bob Dylan. And I’m a proud dad.
