Working on getting a truck imported from the US. Does anyone know what kind of insurance I'd need to get from SGI to be able to drive it in one US state and across the border?
@rferschy@YaraWesternCdn I used it this year but due to conditions, I can’t comment on performance. I can say, it stores like crap. Massive amount of small lumps thru the entire bin.
Anybody use @YaraWesternCdn#amidas nitrogen/sulphur on their farm? What are your thoughts and what have you seen? As I have read company literature but would like to hear what actual farmers have seen.
@clmerz1@AnnexAgro@Marcelvanst@bigbushelsag I remember a fungus that killed the hoppers very suddenly in the late 80s. Died frozen in position feeding on the heads. Eerie sight.
@DavidNobbs1@CarldeConinck@KevinHursh1 I thought the same thing until I hung a boom out into canary while spraying lentils trying to reduce overlap and clean up an edge. 78g/ac and 10g water laid it out. Did recover but thinned it out and delayed maturity.
@mdbrummund Was just looking at colour schemes. I got it finalized colour selection. Had 4 design talented people that I picked their brains on. I think they are happier than me I finally finalized my colour selection
Does anybody know of a link to a design planner? Looking at changing my siding and putting on a deck. Trying to find a realistic looking website that you can change colours to see what works and doesn't work for colour scheme.
Day 8 Question @JonathanWNV@cathmckenna What are some of the green jobs? Will they be located in cities or rural areas? 4 those jobs what do u expect 2 be the hourly wage? I am getting sick of asking this question. Would appreciate an answer.A goal without a plan is just a dream
@Allisonfarms I have an old gates my dad bought in the ‘70s. Hasn’t let me down yet. I stock the common fittings and get ferrils from ericks in Saskatoon. If you cut the crimp off of the old fittings with a Zip disk you can reuse the old fittings and don’t need to stock all the fittings.
@rferschy@cpwcsk Heavy harrow will definitely make it harder. Both would spread straw but I know a fella with disk drill that really dislikes harrowing bc it knocks more stubble down and hair pinning is increased.
@cpwcsk Looking at splitting with a neighbout and we both have disc drills. He said one time he used a heavy harrow and said it seemed to make the ground hard. So that is why I was posting. Both cut stubble big but need to chaff rows more than straw issues
