I'm deeply embarrassed by our TV news channels today. A former US diplomat had to bluntly tell our anchors to shut up for pushing their foolish anti-Pakistan agenda during the important Iran-US peace talks in Islamabad.
These anchors have become a global joke, so juvenile and obsessed with hate that they've made India lose all respect internationally.
The biggest act of patriotism these channels can do right now is to stop this clownery and stop embarrassing our country in front of the world. Time to grow up! 🇮🇳

Several Indian media outlets have described the disorder at singer James’s concert at Faridpur Zila School as an attack by a so-called “Tawhidi mob,” even circulating false rumors of multiple deaths. However, investigations tell a very different story. Fact-checking outlet The Dissent found no evidence of Islamist or extremist involvement. Reports by Prothom Alo explain that the chaos stemmed from severe overcrowding after thousands of unregistered people gathered outside the venue upon hearing that James would perform. When they were denied entry due to space constraints, tensions escalated, leading to stone-throwing and the eventual cancellation of the program. Police confirmed the crowd size was unmanageable, and James himself stated that the incident occurred due to organizers’ mismanagement. The claim of a “Tawhidi mob” attack is therefore misleading and unfounded.

I am deeply saddened and heartbroken by the news that six brave Bangladeshi peacekeepers were killed, and eight others, including three female soldiers were injured in a brutal terrorist attack on a United Nations peacekeeping base in the Abyei area of Sudan.
Our brave soldiers, who gave their lives while serving under the UN flag to protect world peace, are a source of great pride for our nation. Their sacrifice will always be remembered by Bangladesh. I pray for the forgiveness of the souls of the fallen peacekeepers and express my deepest sympathy to their grieving families.
I wish a speedy recovery to the injured soldiers and call on all concerned to stand by them during this difficult time.
As the son of a decorated army officer, I have always been passionately inspired by the exceptional professionalism, courage, and sacrifice of the Bangladesh Army. In the current situation, I believe the international community must take stronger and more effective steps to ensure the safety of peacekeepers.
May Allah accept our brave soldiers as martyrs and grant the injured a swift recovery.

Prothom Alo strikes again with its blatant disrespect! They cropped out the full image of the Kalima, while others showed the full photo. It’s not journalism, it’s shameless propaganda. #BoycottProthomAlo #RespectIslam
