@dmaclachlan @FourWinns298 Well Said David. Too much US inspired me and my rights extremism going on here with AntiVax'rs. In the absence of medical justification everybody should be vaccinated. Those who are not should be highly restricted in their public activities & risk paying their own medical bills.

@FourWinns298 I have no issues with this, so long as they are tested daily, before work, at their expense - and I want the testers to be thorough with that swab! They also need to wear a button at work that says “I am a selfish, and stupid, ass”. Free to choose.

@AnneGolfRules One of the early pioneers of Woman's golf in Canada. Did so much to raise interest, credibility and generally advance Woman's golf in Canada. She will be missed.

Very sad news. Met her when she was an amateur, and then worked with during her involvement with the DuMaurier women's series. Wonderful person who gave so much back to the game she loved.

Agreed Paul, and given that he was not going to advance regardless of the outcome, it shows how much pride he takes in competing. That he went on and won the match was further evidence. Not many more fun to watch play this game than Na.

@FadooBobcat So, when are you and all the other SN cast off's going to throw-in on some new programming that is worth listening to ? The current SN programming is at best who cares listening, and at worst....I can't listen any more !!!!!

@chambleebrandel Of the many elements needing to be better understood and managed is how to measure and address slow play as it relates to bad golf. ....it takes more time to hit 6 or 7 shots on a hole and ball search shots that miss the fairway, than 3 or 4 shots and always from short grass.

@chambleebrandel This is a subject that I take great interest in, because it identifies a problem that in my opinion has yet to be fully explored and broken down into its many elements. There's much, much more to pace of play than pre-shot routine, it is but one of many areas of concern.

This is worth a read. To truly understand slow play, an in depth study along these lines would help in making decisions about how best to combat the problem. The European Tour accumulated a fair bit of data, that showed conclusively, playing faster means better golf.
