Quick summary for those who just slept through the entire U.S. election: Democrats: We're responsible people. Trump isn't. Voters: Oh, so _you guys_ are the ones responsible for this mess of a world. Got it.

Super inspiring to see these reports of long lines of voters ... and/but, it's awful (& voter suppression) that lines to vote are so long. There ought to be a max wait-time beyond which a state is required to add polling stations. (15 minutes, or your vote is free, if you will)

At a time in our country when election officials are being threatened and harassed and efforts to undermine elections are coming from candidates themselves, that's not helpful. (18/18)

This seems like a good moment to remind people that the @FiveThirtyEight forecast is *not* actually telling you odds of a particular election result. It's telling you they really don't know, and can't know, and that, truly, you should be looking elsewhere. (1/18)
