@UofT @UTM @UTSC Totally irresponsible. Everything closes down and public transport is running on special schedules. Not even mentioning the effort to dig yourself out during the night and this morning. Switching to online for a day is easy, as demonstrated by other universities in this town.

Weather update: The #UofT St. George campus remains open and operational. Classes will proceed as planned. @UTM is closed today & @UTSC campus is open but morning classes are cancelled. We are monitoring and will provide updates to campus operations here: utoronto.ca/campus-status

@UofT Close it already. There are students depending on public transportation and GO already indicated a special service schedule, cancelling a number of trains.

@thebrokencradle Interesting approach. I let myself drift by discoveries, ventured more into Japanese literature this year, Murakami, Yamada, Ishiguro, Kawakami, Yokoyama. It all started with a bargain bin grab. You never know .. 📚

I made a goal to read 48 books this year and I'm on book 48. Once I got into a rhythm, it hasn't been too difficult but I think I'm going to read less next year. Read more this year but created less music. Tradeoffs.

I've been using Ableton live now for so many years and have always been happy with it. I hear version 12 is on the horizon and how do I feel? Just numb and first thoughts being I'm gonna stay with version 11. I don't need another synth, or saturation device...

@CrskPaul Makes total sense. I suppose I'm spoiled with lifetime free upgrades by FL. Much of the fun is outside DAWs anyway. Have fun..

@mode55official Yeah I think they charge you for an update to the latest version then give you a free update to the new version when it launches. The last update I purchased was to v10 with a free upgrade to v11 when it was released. There's other toys I want more before I upgrade live again
