Quantum Theatre presents Kenneth Grahame’s The Reluctant Dragon, an enchanting tale of a poetry-loving dragon and his friendship with a little boy who together hatch a cunning plan to NOT fight St George!

Everyone knows St George has to do battle with the dragon, but what happens when the dragon simply won’t fight St George?

It's International Museum Day! We are proud to announce we have been awarded a grant from The Royal Society and their Places of Science grant award scheme. We will be using this money to bring the museum to life by creating audio trials around the building using Talking Pens

look what has Just Arrived in our Museum shop, the beautiful RSPB handy spotters guides with a great fold out section. We are only open at weekends so why not bring along a picnic and see what you can spot.

The local police are visiting the site on a regular basis due to reports and evidence of gatherings on site and will be following the government's rulings to issue fines to any persons not following the social distancing rules.

*UPDATE: 12TH MAY* Site opening and fishing Following the announcement from the government on 11th May, we will be allowing fishing to re-commence as of Wednesday 13th May. Regular charges will still apply, with a contactless CASH system being put in place with the bailiff.
