@TLRailUK Thanks is that the case even though I am not passing through central London? I am going from Richmond to St Albans via West Hampstead.

@moocher Hi there unfortunately you would need to use this at off peak times. It will need to be before 16:30 or after 19:00 ^TT

@TLRailUK avoid Thameslink shambles at St Pancras, trains coming and going without passengers, avoid! Get tube to West Hampstead instead

@TLRailUK what is going on at St Pancras? Timetabled trains to Bedford/ Luton apparently arriving and departing and yet enormous queue outside ticket barriers is barely moving, who is getting on these trains?

@jim8oy66 @JasonB090529 Who said anything about car parks and shopping centres? They take him to parks, nature reserves, quiet beaches. Places where they can all get a break. They simply could not do that without access to a car

Over 37,000 people get a motability car for autism, over 63,000 get a motability car for anxiety and depression, neither of these conditions are a physical disability, why are taxpayers buying brand new cars for people without a physical disability? It’s fucked up. 😡

@jim8oy66 @JasonB090529 Yes some do because autism varies wildly. My nephew is severely autistic. He used to scream if a stranger sat near him on the train, run off and rip his clothes off, causing other passengers to call the police. His parents deserve every penny of support they get

@ScarredForLife2 oh my goodness I watched this as a child but had never heard of it since - was almost beginning to wonder if I dreamt it, but I remember it vividly, especially that ending

Opening door number 15 of the Scarred For Life advent calendar, we find... a man trapped in a phone box. It's one of the greatest short horror films ever made (with an unforgettable ending): LA CABINA!

@KirstieMAllsopp It’s a universal benefit worth keeping. Most people who get it aren’t millionaires. Once these benefits become means tested, they are invariably stripped back to the very poorest, meaning once again those in the hard-working squeezed middle lose out

A writer so successful that today is a day dedicated to him in schools all over the country thinks it is reasonable that he travels for free due to his age. People have to stop taking things they do not need, it is wrong and it is bankrupting our country.

My Freedom Pass doesn't work. I went to the website to get a replacement Freedom Pass. It won't let me get a replacement Freedom Pass because the website says 'You do not currently have an active Freedom Pass.'

@grok why is my 'For You' feed filled with extreme right wing opinions when I do not follow any accounts with views like this? What is the 'For You' feed based on and why isn't X's algorithm ensuring it is more balanced?

@TfL You can pay by contactless at St Albans City and Thameslink tells me these payments are managed by TFL

@TLRailUK what’s the policy on cancelling a contactless ticket? Tapped in yesterday at St Albans, trains in chaos. Gave up after 5 minutes, tapped back out and went home. Today I have been charged £39.90 for going nowhere. What do I do?

@TLRailUK Thanks - I know you do the social media - I just wish that Thameslink would acknowledge how stressful all these cancellations can be, rather than gloss over the reasons and act like everything’s fine. Some honesty would be very refreshing

@moocher Some are yes, some have been affecting by signalling issues. That's all I can advise as that's what i can see on journey planners ^Scottie

@TLRailUK I not disputing that ‘some’ trains are running but why all the cancellations? Are they related once again to staff shortages?

@moocher Yes those services are running to timetable, per live journey planners, there are a few cancellations but not relating to disruption so these will be fine ^Scottie

@Jenny_1884 Because it would compromise its independence. Would they show a documentary criticising (for example) Amazon, if Amazon was spending millions a year on advertising with them?

To add to the absurdity the EasyJet staff in EasyJet jackets at the EasyJet gate insisted they were in fact nothing to do with EasyJet and he should go back to checkin and find the real EasyJet staff to raise a complaint. Wtf?

Managed to get the last spare seat. Chap behind me wasn’t so lucky. He was told to go back to EasyJet checkin where staff would book him on a later flight ‘at no extra charge’. How kind!

Seems @easyJet’s overbooking policy is simply to deny boarding to random people. Checked in online night before, allocated a seat, told at gate to wait till the end to see if there were any no-shows as ‘my seat had been given to a family’. Thanks! What a 💩 show
