A little update on Lulu She is doing good so far. Unable to move on her own, but maybe in a couple of weeks we will try to get her on her feet 🤞🏻 For now she has to be laid on her side, healing. We have to keep turning her so she doesn't get sore. It's pretty sad to see her this way, because we're used to seeing her running around and lively. We know it's for her own good and the results will be worth it in the end 🙏🏻🐾🐶❤ We are desperately low on funds. Top marks to the owners for undertaking such a sensitive restoration of the facade, including stripping the stunning cut limestone shopfront of decades of paint, revealing an architecturally considered nod to the legacy of the Wide Streets Commission on Eden Quay.

A shimmering symphony of handblown cylinder glass in the newly conserved facade of Meaghers of Eden Quay. Every single one of the original sash window panes survives in this quietly sophisticated little building, reconstructed after 1916 to designs of architect Thomas J. Cullen.

Tough one today. Arthritis was acting up so everything was sore, along with the bad hip. Neck, elbows, back, even my hands. Even with a painkiller and an anti-inflammatory. But #CoachedByDave adjusted the workout, and we still got my pulse racing.

@joancooke5 You can add to that the proposed planning exemptions for extensions and attic conversions for "elderly relatives". Think about that. It excludes the elderly themselves.
