“Victims.” “People.” Interesting word choices from @Reuters to obscure the obvious. Note those yellow Hezbollah flags draped over the coffins, the white ones of its affiliated scout movement, and the green flag of Hezbollah's Amal ally. They tell a very different story. Israel was targeting terror operatives. Calling them generic “victims” strips away the context readers need to understand what actually happened.

The new report on the sexual crimes committed by Hamas on October 7 is not merely a legal document or a historical record - it is a moral test for the entire world. Following an independent investigation that lasted nearly two years and included more than 430 testimonies, 10,000 photos and videos, and 1,800 hours of documented material, the Civil Commission concluded that the sexual violence carried out during the massacre and in captivity was not incidental - but systematic, organized, and deliberate. The report outlines 13 recurring patterns of sexu@l and gender-based violence, including r@pe, sexu@l torture, deliberate humiliation, and the recording of assaults as a form of psychological terror. But beyond the atrocities themselves, this is also a story about silence. About the struggle of victims to receive recognition. About attempts to deny, minimize, or justify crimes simply because they do not fit a particular political narrative. Women’s rights should never depend on the identity of the victim or the perpetrator. If the world truly believes in universal human rights, it must be willing to confront these atrocities with honesty, consistency, and moral courage. Do you believe in equality (Every Israeli citizen has the same rights, including its 20% Arab-Muslim population) or do you believe in the sectarianism and apartheid of the Arab world?

The higher inflation, higher interest rates and poor fiscal position are overwhelmingly the result of the economic policies of previous Tory governments, exacerbated by the current Labour one, which continued to borrow too much, tax too much, spend too much.
