All alleged picks so far are solid: - Senator Kelly: you get Arizona senator, astronaut, husband of Gabby Giffords. - Gov. Shapiro: young, popular, Jewish American governor of must-win battleground Pennsylvania state - Gov Beshear: young Democratic governor of Kentucky (!), shows unity with red states - Gov Whitmer young Democratic gov of Michigan, another must-win state, well liked, a woman going against Vance's misogyny - Gov Cooper of North Carolina: Democrat of a purple state that could swing for Dems, not as young, lot of experience, and can be the elder statesman.
