Your personal mosquito air defense system LiDAR locks onto a mosquito in 3 milliseconds. Laser fires. Fried. Up to 30 per second and works in pitch dark. It's called the Photon Matrix. The tech is literally descended from Reagan's Star Wars missile defense program, just shrunk down to fry bugs in your backyard. You wanted one yesterday didn't you.

@Victori83525871 @alluringmedia @PeterHadIt remember reading this in his autobiography: Elon Musk once fought a 350-pound world-champion sumo wrestler the exertion caused a severe spinal injury that resulted in a smashed (C5-C6) vertebra, requiring multiple surgeries and years of chronic pain

@mttycodes @willchen500 That is so true. Agent orchestration to generate high quality outcomes is my core challenge when building tools.

Harvey is valued at $11B. Legora just raised at $5.5B. I built their entire web application in two weeks and I'm making it open-source and free for everyone to use. Say hi to Mike: mikeoss.com. When I got the chance to try Harvey and Legora, I was surprised by how simple they were. A thought came to mind: I could probably build something similar in no time at all with Claude. And so I did. Assistant, project, tabular review and workflows. You get it all without vendor lock-in. Mike offers law firms an alternative, where they own the application layer and aren't stuck with a vendor they're renewing forever. You can try Mike in the demo on the website, or go to the GitHub link on the site to download the code and run a local version yourself.

@willchen500 Makes sense. I think it won’t be an issue soon. You probs can just use Anthropic and friends chat interface with Harvey’s MCP soon enough. And than UI will be your responsibility to vibe code in the chat :) lolol

@mttycodes Yes you are right. But I think Mike already made some improvements compared to the incumbents. Harvey could barely edit a document when I tested, and Legora couldn’t render a docx in landscape instead of portrait. Their tabular reviews are also super slow.

just read a reddit post and a youtube breakdown of the Anthropic SWE interview loop never felt more dumb in my life. apparently you need to casually: - implement LRU cache with concurrency - build a web crawler - design LLM inference infra, KV cache management - reconstruct profiler traces from sampling profiler AI companies are interviewing like this now.

"I built X in Y time" is a much better metric. btw I rip code in my LLM all day too but 10K lines an hour in a codebase with other people seems unrealistic or i'm just slow in which case someone show me the way

using lines of code generated as the core metric for llm's taking over is so wrong. what matters is the output. if you have nothing to show than you're just larping my guy. anyone can generate 1K lines of code per min by asking the LLM to create a spaghetti factory

one of the lead engineers at my company is so lazy that he won't even explain the bug to the AI. he will take a screenshot of the logs, paste it into Claude and just ask it to figure out what is causing it and fix the issue. its worked 10 times out of 10 so far.

@mattvanswol I'd think about what can they do right now where they can start building proof of work for something that interests them. Can they intern somewhere, can they work for free? I think experience >> education unless highly technical but can just learn w/ AI now anyways

I could use some help. My kids (middle/high school) are already thinking about college and life after graduation. Looking 5–10 years out, it’s hard to find a path that doesn’t look like AI could replace it. If you were them, what would you study or do after high school?

Wow... Claude Opus 4.6 is going to disrupt software 🤯 🤯 Reddit is a company worth $28.93B So I cloned it in 4 minutes using CC Opus 4.6 on @shipper_now. It takes ~5 min longer to enable back-end and auth, and expand subreddits.. Should I keep building my own Reddit??

Twitter is reliably 3-6 months behind what’s actually going on in SF and the rest of the world is 3-6 months behind that. So in May or so there will be a big stock market adjustment to an AGI headline.
