Main reason people don’t reach their potential is they’re holding onto rules imposed upon them during adolescence by unqualified authority figures. Still trying to conform to being a morning person at age 27, meanwhile you produce your best work at 3 AM. Still copying someone else’s form in athletics when you’ve got an entirely different bone structure. Gotta write your own curriculum as quickly as possible and smash every inherited idea to dust if you’re planning to create anything great.

Local celebrity is the most overlooked optimal way to live after you’ve built a legitimate business as an entrepreneur. Too many ass clowns running the same day in the life of an entrepreneur building a $1 billion brand, $100k scripted vacations, collaboration jerk show like it’s original content. Meanwhile guy with the regional HVAC or asphalt company and zero online presence has a hangar with a paid off jet, car collection, zero “investors”, family, sick friend group, etc. Same lifestyle the “founder” is optimizing for but doesn’t have to put on the clown suit and jog on the hamster wheel for views.

Obviously don’t resonate with backpack enthusiasts who run off to Bali after making a bag either and quit the game.

Higher you climb in business, the more you realize there is an abundance of tech nerds and finance nerds who make being married to the game their entire personality. Making more bread becomes the cope for avoiding how to talk to people, becoming physically capable, knowing how to not get mauled by a woman and lose half your net worth, having skills outside of spreadsheets, basic shit. Tragic reality there are no Howard Hughes types left, just an abundance of nerds optimizing to make another 100 million to cover up their insecurities. As a man, your value is almost entirely based upon how many obscure talents you’ve weaved together. Coming from a guy who’s devoted most of my life to playing the game.

This is the type of person you have to be to get hired at Citadel Ken Griffin once asked a Harvard graduate with a Citadel offer letter what he would do if he had $10 million in his bank account The young man replied that he would quit his job to travel and climb the highest peaks around the world Ken Griffin responded by saying that Citadel was not the right fit for him

Best part about carving your own path is not having a single soul to look up to. No one to give you advice. No one to outsource your pain to. No search for wisdom. All the answers are there in front of you. You carry all your pain alone. Turns you into a beast

If you gave me the choice to suffer, or the choice to enjoy the finest shit, I’d choose to suffer every day of the week, and twice on Sunday.

Quit being stingy and penny pinching. Hand bills out like candy, overtip at the local establishments that treat you like royalty, give the homeless guy a few bucks to watch your car, tell everyone to keep the change, pay the entire dinner bill, buy the higher end model… You have to be moving in life with a complete sense of abundance especially when you’re starting to make big money. It only reinforces your mind that you’re going to keep making more and more money. Most guys out there are splitting a $50 dinner bill with venmo….

Folks have tried to substitute the state of being mentally and physically fatigued with rigorous healing and wellness protocols thinking it would produce the same benefits. What they fail to understand is that the entrepreneur kickstarts their billion dollar idea broke, mentally and physically depleted, training to capacity daily. Artist produces the perfect song, film, or painting with a mild drug addiction borderline homeless. Basically no one launches anything great from a state of balance and perfect salubrity. Operating under this framework is simply refusing to embrace the pain that must be endured to create anything monumental.

@JxrdanB_ Most biz here are not growth minded either, very much high floor low ceiling - 90% of my clients are US based/EU based Aus business owners often scared to invest capital/slow to move

Australia is the worst place to try make it online. – Slowest internet in the developed world – TikTok/Instagram views capped because of small geo reach – 95% of people here think working a 9-5 and beating their mrs is "success" – No hustle culture, just footy and beers – No network, no events, no motivation Still made it. No excuses.

@adamsourpatch To this was my mum and I for years. It sucks but you gotta understand that she doesn’t know better. You’re not speaking to her. You’re speaking to 40/50y of societal programming. It changed when I bought her a massive house. Aim for that lol.

Sent my mom 25k last week, for the fuck of it. She was happy that day, But the very next day she went back to arguing with me on going back to college, And she continues to argue with me every single day about going back go college, I used to make that 25 in a whole year Little lesson, keep doing what you’re doing, if you have true conviction, no doubt should ever be allowed in the subconscious. If you have no conviction, you’re a grifter bruv.

Good indicator of bottom barrel IQ is if someone is easily triggered by politicians, public figures, or obvious reaction inducing trends on socials. If you’re fighting the good fight, you’re going so hard against the grain that people should look at you as if you are an alien in public. Gas guzzling vehicle when EVs are being jammed down your throat, style from 10 years ago so you don’t look like a copy paste bot, walking different, talking different, refuse to wait in lines or confirm. Simple really.
