@Omi2you@reb_calderon Original plan was just for the stadium and it looked 100% nicer/ lower and fit Gibraltar. Then typical of Gib the rich need more money…
@GibraltarGov Crazy idea, rather than selling our land & allowing buildings which only the rich can buy, use that land to build 50/50 &/or govt rental flats. All before selling our waters and port to private buyers. We’re asked to not be selfish but I think it’s not the people being selfish!
Land Reclamation within the Inner Harbour

@GBCNewsroom Seeing as more than a handful have already been thrown out of windows in my estate I’m guessing people don’t care. Serious action needs be taken, ban them entirely & just have the GoG display at 12. We are too built up and there will be a serious problem one day.
@GibraltarGov I’m not sure moving should be the first issue. The fact that people I know have seen about 20locums becuase the GHA won’t hire a permanent replacement is more important.
My precious lil baby love Saint has passed away 🥀 I’m broken.
I’m so lucky to have had him in my life and be there through it all. My little bed hog, lover pie, I’m gonna miss you so much 😭😭😭😭
I know many of you loved Saint too ❤️ he’s a little angel now and I will forever miss his kisses. I’m so sad
@PBalban All this achieves is upsetting the majority of Gib by removing parkings & creating more very narrow roads while leaving the rest of the roads a complete mess! All for going green but this should start with reducing the # of construction sites which are the biggest polluters!
@PBalban Great cyclist & scooters can now make it from Cepsa to the end of Bayside road safely. Honestly not really very far. How does this deal with the arrogant riders & the majority who believe they are above the rules of the road (majority).
Cycling lane is all well &good but the 20cars that would’ve parked there haven’t vanished. Where r they to park now? If Gib truly wants to go green lets start with the biggest polluters all the construction sites. Guess some pockets r more important than our health @GibraltarGov
A government spokesperson told GBC there had *not* been water ingress/ standing water issues at the Kingsway tunnel. They said this pic - shared on social media - was taken “at the height of the downpour and it drained away quickly after that and was back to normal”.
@GBCNewsroom There are empty shop spaces in town/ ICC, empty office in the WTC & Europort and countless empty flats owned by rich seeking tax benefits. The entire thing is a complete waste of space & money. Parking & green space is what is needed & both could put in the space!
@GibChronicle Can we please stop with all this building for the rich! Vast majority of locals do not earn millions. I really hope this gets a petition against it. Owner already had the whole East side Project to play with. Locals need parking and green spaces worst case affordable houses! 😡
@reb_calderon@ThinkingGreenGI Unfortunately the plans are for more houses, shops and offices. All for the rich of course. Really hope the plans get changed. Personally I think car park (couple of floors) then a green park on the top floor. Two birds one stone.
Tng Realty (Bayside) Ltd please reconsider building tower blocks on the site of our old schools. #Gibraltar needs a big park here. You have the Eastside for flats so please make this area GREEN! @ThinkingGreenGIpic.twitter.com/eB0NIgWzNJ
@GBCNewsroom@GibHeritage@Gibraltar_Mike@JonScottGib@GBCTVGibraltar Spoiling the Rock, way to big and designed to be flashy not practical (ie housing for average people) I mean who needs 2-3 spas and ‘sky gardens’ with floors of flats about them and not even enough parking for each flat what’s the point? Disappointed if this gets approved.
While a new plan for Gibraltar is prepared, development continues. What do you think of plans for tall buildings at Devil’s Tower Rd?
