Police shot & killed his friend but he was charged & now he’s in prison with 65 years. This case is an outrageous injustice. Please learn more about the effort to help LaKeith Smith.

In 2015, LaKeith and 4 other boys broke into homes during the day. The police were called and gunfire erupted. LaKeith did not murder A’Donte. He ran and hid. He was only 15 and tried as an adult. He was later convicted and sentenced to 65 years in a maximum security prison.

My son is on year 14 of a 37 year sentence. I have no words to explain what prison has done to him, and me, and his dad, and his sisters, and his brother, and his grandmother, and his daughters. Devastation beyond repair. None of us are better...All of us are bitter.
