client is getting $0.87 installs on a niche app. 100+ downloads a day. partnership ads crushing it. CTR through the roof. they asked: should we 10x the ad spend? we said nah. which is a weird thing to say when you run an ads agency lol but here's the thing MRR is flat. Downloads are up. Revenue isn't. the ads are working. The paywall is not. this happens all the time with new apps. you figure out how to get people in the door before you figure out how to get them to pay. and scaling ad spend when your paywall is broken is just... expensive research. you'll learn that your paywall is broken. faster. for more money. in this case the fix isn't more ads. it's better paywalls. different placements. price testing. trial length experiments. get the monetization engine humming FIRST. then pour gas on it.

Ryan’s been absolutely crushing it for us the past couple months. We’ve tested a ton of creative, but his videos consistently stand out and just work with this audience. We’ve taken average CPI from about $5.65 down to $2.95 (almost a 50% drop) and thumb-stop rate jumped from ~27% to ~58%.
