The thinking of Nagas and Kuki-Zo of Manipur that Meiteis once rightly categorised as ST would swallow their share of privileges is highly exaggerated, irrational and frankly absurd. the Indian government, which was helpless in Manipur for about two years, is now preparing to avenge Pahalgam.

We all remember how you tried to cover up the involvement of Kuki terrorists in the Manipur crisis, an obvious attempt to deflect from the glaring incompetence of your leadership, or perhaps to let Manipur burn for your geo-political games, while your government conveniently reduced the situation to a mere ethnic clash. I hope the entire nation can now see how National Security has been grossly mishandled, whether in Jammu & Kashmir or in Manipur. Condolences to the families of the deceased. They deserve justice, not another political spin.

.@viprabuddhi If one look closely, it feels less like Manipur is a state of India and more like it’s been treated as a colony. The first suspension of operations (SoO) was signed in 2005 between Kuki militant organizations and the Indian army. 👈 Much like the MLR & LR Act of 1960, enacted when Manipur was still a Union Territory without a legislative assembly, the Manipur Government had no real say or awareness when the SoO agreement was initially signed. It was only later, in August 2008, that the Government of India decided to formally include the Manipur Government, turning the agreement into a tripartite arrangement more for appearance than genuine involvement. The strategic planning behind all of this was orchestrated by the #IndianArmy and #AB_Mathur, former Special Secretary of RAW. As you can also see in the picture, the Meitei (Congress) CM appeared completely clueless of what was unfolding. He is just like any other rubber stamp CM of Manipur, be it BJP or Congress, just doing whatever he's told by his boss in Delhi.
