@njny @justyn_lfc Didn’t like glasner the way he handled Guehi. Not because it screwed us, but if he has it in him to do that, when he damn well knew he wasn’t staying, it says everything about his character. And we need the whole package. The man and the coach. Genuinely thought he was special.

This was Schoen's comment on an extension on Black Monday: "In the nature of the business, I'm not sure how much it really matters how many years you have on your contract or not." If the Giants have another four-win season, it'd just be money out of ownership's pocket to make a GM change. Figured they'd just let it play out since they went through the big roster-building events without an extension. But clearly the vibes are high after all of the wins this offseason

The #Giants and GM Joe Schoen have agreed to terms on a multi-year extension to keep him working with John Harbaugh for years to come, per me and @MikeGarafolo. After a successful offseason, including the work during the NFL Draft, Schoen is rewarded with a new deal.

@justyn_lfc He's lost a significant portion of the dressing room. He's definitely lost a majority of the fans, and I have never seen anyone here come back from losing a majority of the fans. This only works when everyone is on the same page, and we're not right now. He's the easiest fix.
