I have been in terrible health since November 2025. While I will keep the details of my health condition private, I can promise the worst is behind me now. I am well on the way to better health and will be back in a few months. Thank you to those who have been in touch and supported me in these trying times. We’ll be back, babe, and ever so strong. We remain undaunted in our pursuit of justice, equality, and fairness.

As part of the Women2025+ campaign spearheaded by the Netherlands Ambassador together with five other female ambassadors and their identified male +1s, I partnered with the Danish Ambassador. Among other activities in the initiative, I drew seven cartoons on various women rights issues. Six of them were auctioned yesterday evening at the @DKinUganda Ambassador’s residence, from which about 7.5m was raised. Thanks to all that participated. I had the privilege to decide what the money should be put to. It will be used to buy reusable pads for school going girls in a refugee camp in Adjumani. It has been such an elating experience, a great feeling to be there for the less privileged.

Today I was at Henrob Hospital. Somehow you still vainly hope that you will still bump into him pacing in the corridors, he will flash a smile, and he takes you around the hospital, showing you what they have added and the plans ahead. After waiting in vain, you find a discrete corner in the washrooms, cry intensely, clean up, wear a lie of a face, and walk away with your damaged heart.
