I wrote this one...@RollingStone
"Spencer Pratt is a quintessential American. His entire life has been fueled by an unfathomable level of self-confidence, despite a data set that suggests he may not be good at anything."

Thank you, President Trump, for working so hard to make the world a better, safer place
Department of State@StateDept
English

@TheCriticalDri2 It is. It may not be all they do. But they do it.
English

Isn't that what all HR departments do?

JUST IN: Bolt CEO Ryan Breslow fired the company’s entire HR team because they were “creating problems that didn’t exist.”

@JJackedkerouac @BasedMikeLee Dumb response. That’s not the only means of travel. Obviously. And compared to the 1860s, travel to the USA is much easier generally. Obviously.
English

@odellm23 @BasedMikeLee Yes, travel is so easy for a mother and children walking from South America to the US border.

@crcitizen_8 @BasedMikeLee The 14th clearly states that where matters

The hydraulic pin holding the tower arm in place did not retract.
If that can be fixed tonight, there will be another launch attempt tomorrow at 5:30 CT.

@BasedMikeLee It was a different time. Illegal immigration didn’t exist. Travel was difficult. The wrote what they wrote. Thinking it doesn’t make sense now does not change the words on the page.

@BladeoftheS Not true. You don’t pay income tax on what you own. You pay income tax on your income.
English

Jeff Bezos pays ~1% tax.
If he paid the 41.7% tax that most people earning over $581,850 pay.
There would be money for everything.
Jeff Bezos@JeffBezos
Thank you. The important part is zeroing out taxes on the bottom half. Best way to put money in someone’s pocket is to not take it out in the first place. Bottom half is only 3% of total tax revenue. But it’s very meaningful to that person. Zero it out.
English

@Heccles94 Bezos is estimated to have paid $2.4 billion in income taxes in 2024
English

We don’t want to not pay taxes. We just want Bezos and his friends to pay theirs.

BEZOS SAYS BOTTOM HALF OF WORKERS SHOULD PAY ZERO TAXES

@MatrixMysteries The principal amount on the screen is not what she took out. It’s the current principal amount. She shows the sum of her payments but she never shows the amount she took out. It’s this video that’s a scam.
English

@NjlizNj23 @MatrixMysteries So you didn’t make payments large enough to even pay the interest. What exactly did you think would happen?
English

@MatrixMysteries This is what critics do not understand we paid my daughter student loan for 10 years and didn't even touch the principal and her balance kept going up and up. They are lone sharks and it needs to stop! Students want to pay off their debt, but it's impossible
English

There’s no evil magic to these loans. If you don’t pay enough to pay down the principal then they don’t go away. Just like any other loan. The terms are known from the beginning. Anyone this happens to, it’s because they aren’t paying enough. Doesn’t matter how many payments you make if you don’t pay down the principal.

The US military uses shotguns and pistols too. But when people call AR-15s military grade weapons, they are trying to imply something that isn’t true. It’s a civilian weapon that doesn’t have automatic fire, and isn’t more dangerous than many other civilian rifles that don’t happen to look like military rifles.
English

@danielle819 @Skwerilleee The AR-15 is not a military grade weapon. It’s a civilian weapon that does not have automatic fire.
English

Something that happens to me literally every time I'm talking politics with a liberal:
I'll mention that the gun control is a total dealbreaker on voting blue for a lot of people.
They respond with "nobody wants to take your guns, that's just republican fearmongering."
I point out that no, literally every democrat candidate wants an assault weapons ban. That's not some republican lie, it's literally right there on their own issues pages.
Rather than acknowledging that they were incorrect and continuing the conversation from there, they just immediately pivot to "omg nobody needs an assault weapon!"
It's literally like a script, I've had the exact same conversation like 1000 times.
English

@thematrixb0t And the benefits are capped too. So it makes sense.
