The night before I was leaving Nigeria for the first time, I went out to hang with my guys.Normal guys parole now
But for some reason, the entire night felt strange to me.
I can’t even explain it properly. Then around 2am, my mum randomly called me and said,
“I don’t know why but I just felt like praying for you.” At that exact moment, we were already heading home. Few minutes later, on the express road, one trailer almost cleared our car completely. When I say “almost,” I mean by seconds. Everybody inside the car went silent immediately because it was THAT close. But the part that stayed with me was not even the near accident. It was the fact that my mum woke up from sleep at that exact time feeling uneasy enough to call me. Till today, I still think about it because how do you explain things like that? 😂

🔴Registration Of NDC Raises Concerns As ADA Seeks Legal Action Against INEC. A wave of controversy has erupted following the registration of the Senator Dickson-led National Democratic Congress (NDC), as the All Democratic Alliance (ADA) raises concerns over the legitimacy of the process. Promoters of the ADA claim that the NDC was registered through fraudulent means that bypassed the guidelines established by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). During appearances on Arise News Morning Show and Trust TV, Dr Umar Ardo, a key figure in the ADA, criticised INEC for allegedly deviating from its procedures by registering a political party that he claims did not go through the official screening process. Ardo revealed that initially, 171 political associations expressed interest in registration, but only 14 were shortlisted by INEC. On September 15, 2025, INEC published the list of 14 associations that advanced to the next stage, which involves verification of their offices nationwide. Of the 14 groups, only eight proceeded to the verification stage on INEC’s portal. Ardo asserted that the ADA adhered to all requirements and actively participated in the process, but was denied registration. He said: “It is shocking that a political association that did not submit an application, was not shortlisted among the 14, and did not make the final eight, suddenly appeared with a registration certificate.” Ardo rejected INEC’s explanation that the NDC was registered on the basis of a court order, describing the claim as untenable. He argued that the due process of law would require proper filings and INEC’s participation in court proceedings. “For a court to give such an order, there must have been submissions, and INEC must have been served and represented. We intend to obtain Certified True Copies of the court processes from the Federal High Court in Lokoja to understand what transpired,” he added. In contrast, he alleged that the NDC was absent throughout the stages. He expressed disbelief that a political association that did not apply, was not shortlisted, and did not make the final cut, suddenly obtained a registration certificate. Ardo contested INEC’s explanation that the NDC was registered pursuant to a court order, arguing that proper judicial procedures would require INEC’s participation in court proceedings. @odibeblessing @wtfisburger @Wt4kDave It was in 2018. It is better to be feared than to be loved or "respected" in your words. They always did what I told them to do until I left there. Not once did they disobey. Gentle parenting una! See how horrible you people turned out.

I was assigned as the Biology teacher for SS2. On my first day walking into the class, I could already sense the imminent disrespect. They laughed behind me and made noise. I did my best to calm them, but nothing worked. After that class, a girl brought out donuts to sell during break. I told her to give each person in the class one donut, and I paid. That was it. They became respectful in class, came to me with their problems, and listened during lessons. I occasionally bought them donuts as reward 😅 Students from other classes who didn’t offer Biology heard about it and started attending my class just to eat donuts.

You people will come on this app and confidently mislead people on something you have zero knowledge about. Buying Dangote Refinery shares with a 150k salary will not take anyone out of the trenches. NGX is not a meme coin. Dangote Refinery is currently preparing for its IPO with an estimated valuation of *$40 Billion to $50 Billion**. In Naira, that is over 60 TRILLION Naira. You are telling a guy who earns 150k a month to use 7k to buy a microscopic fraction of a 60 Trillion Naira asset and expect it to magically pay his house rent in a few years? If you earn between 100k and 250k, and you aggressively scrape 20k monthly to buy shares, you would have invested 240k by December. Even if the refinery does a miraculous 20% return, your profit for tying down your hard-earned survival money for 365 days is just 48k. That cannot even buy a half bag of rice today. Inflation will swallow that profit before the dividend is even paid. Let's even scale it up. Let's say you manage to invest a whole 1 Million Naira. A very solid 20% return gives you 200k profit in an ENTIRE YEAR. Is 200k after 12 months changing your life? No. Dangote Refinery stock are for WEALTH PRESERVATION, not poverty eradication. It is for the person sitting on 50m who wants to park heavy liquidity, hedge against inflation. It is NOT for Emeka who's eating from hand to mouth in this economy. If your income is small, take that 7k and use it to eat. 7k is not magically paying your house rent in 2030 because you bought dangote refinery stock.

Make I no talk.... I don't want to say a hard-core truth that will shatter a lot of people. Especially Salary earners. Even if I don't say it, they are already feeling the heat. One advice I will give to all salary earners, is that they should take serious advantage of Dangote Refinery shares that will soon be listed on the Nigeria Stock Exchange market this year July/August. Invest buy Dangote Refinery shares. A word is enough for the wise.
