I truly don't see how you could've watched Bernthal's punisher since Netflix era, or even read comics invoking Frank Castle and come to this conclusion that we've never seen him being a strategist. Truly, the only other way the writers could break it down for you is explaining his every move Sherlock Holmes style

@RedDragon733 @ButcherMagnus As for 1.), Frank absolutely considers the odds. He is known to be a top tier strategist, hence why he's even effective. As for 2.), She specifically put out a time for when the kill order would be in effect, which is why he wasn't simply gunned down on the spot.

This is what this season should have been. Instead they wanted to create political statements that ultimately tanked viewership. It sacrificed good storytelling for the sake of out of touch over dramatization. The comics have always made it clear that the punisher holds service members and LEOs who serve with good intention in high regard, but hates those who are corrupt and disrespect their oath. That's a reasonable position, even for a character like Frank Castle. This latest season wanted to make it some "ACAB" nonsense.
