A hill I will die on is comms people should not be doing the jobs of 2-3 people and actually need that 20% unstructured time that Google made famous decades ago. I talk to too many comms people who are so maxed out in terms of their role, responsibilities and daily deliverables that they don’t have time for the magic of what happens when you can be attuned to the news cycles, vibe out on X and understand the current cultural moment to spot or create opportunities.

It seems Elon's DOGE boys aren't as tech-savvy as he made them out to be - web security experts have discovered that anyone can push updates to the DOGE database. Are they going to blame senior advisor 'bigballs' for this blunder?
