@shanebacon Dude I LOVE the little chipping circle using the tight turf, genius. Gonna have the company out that installed our green ASAP to add something similar. Chipping out of the flier lie thick stuff is hardly practice.

@ryanmouquegolf Broadly agree with the sentiment here. But remember that bodies are not in stasis and feelings change as bodies change. People swing based on those feelings and the swings end up changing as our bodies do. So swings can only go unchanged so long as our bodies do.

Lemme get this straight… Jordan Speith… I know he’s had injuries & made some swing changes (perhaps not for the better) But… if swing changes made him worse… Changing his swing back to what it was is also making him better… So are swing changes good or bad? 😂

Alright @TronCarterNLU hear me out… PGA Championship at TPC Craig James. Stableford Format. Gas pedal through the floor all weekend. Better than what we’ve been getting? Who wins?

@KVanValkenburg @fried_egg_golf My wife and I pondered how hard it would be for Bryson while watching all the RC wives bits on Full Swing. Any reasonable person would have a hard time with his public shtick and the constant negativity around him. And someone drawn to it probably isn’t the “life partner” type.

@LukeKerrDineen This shot and the subsequent missed putt is Jordan’s last decade in a nutshell.

I don't care that it's 24 hours later, I'm still thinking about this shot. Coaches are still in awe of it. So I asked Spieth about it: "I told Annie afterwards I don't think anybody else would've attempted that shot, except maybe JT."

@KylePorterNS The craziest part of this is that I’m trying to watch this shot over and over again just to appreciate it…. And that means every 9 seconds this app wants to force me to watch some race-baiting, cop body cam, street brawl nonsense. What are we all doing here?

@ProGolfCritic Sometimes being dead last in SG AtG is a symptom of wild irons missing in bad spots that others are avoiding. Also middle of the pack SG App in a field that’s 25% PGA Pros and has-beens means Bryson is wayyy down the list among real tour pros that were supposed to contend.

@AndyTFE Would having him win the tournament be the worst case scenario for the legitimacy of this as a major and major venue going forward? Anyone worse?

@KylePorterNS It’s honestly not that far from the green, I’m pretty shocked they put these up so close and in-play. Members probably play from this area all the time..

@NoLayingUp Bryson desperately needs to start a new YT series called Breaking 40, where they’re given a random drop location between 30-125y in each hole. Breaking 50 series specifically never has him playing the weakest part of his game, which is ALWAYS emphasized at majors.

Justin Thomas has a new Phantom 9.5R putter that is basically a copy of Cam Young's putter. “You want Cam’s putter? We were going to get Cam’s putter," Scotty Cameron rep Brad Cloke told me. Thomas switched from his Phantom 5.5 gamer midway through the RBC Heritage last month and played well on the weekend using a backup Newport 2 GSS. He continued using that putter last week, but at Quail Hollow, he told the Scotty Cameron team he basically wanted to start from scratch. So he asked for a couple of new putters including some 9.2Rs, a shape he used previously, and a copy of Cam Young's 9.5R. It's a classic example of pros seeing one player have success with something and then asking to try it themselves. “Obviously, with the success of Cam, um, that Cam is having … these guys are as they see success and they want to see what it’s all about potentially," Cloke said. In addition to having a low-bend shaft that mimics the look and toe hang of a jet neck, Thomas's 5.5 also has a smooth face milling that makes it a bit louder sounding and firmer. But he's actually preferred the milling on the new 9.5R. “It was more so of like, ‘Hey, this is different, but I’m kind of liking it,'" Cloke said. “The comment that I heard from him was about feel, but it was more so like, ‘I’m actually surprised I like the way this feels.’” While the putter is Thomas' spec length and has his grip, it has the same graphite shaft Young uses and a full length sight line. Thomas found that made it super easy to line up.

@Luke_Elvy If the biggest tour went global, it wouldn’t be as big a tour anymore. It’s not the tour or the players’ faults the advertising revenue and sponsor dollars are in the US. Public lobbying of stronger private sponsorship dollars is step 1.

The perfect example of why a Unified World Tour should exist. The PGAT drags all these international players (Alex Fitzpatrick incl.) to the States. Imagine how many more Kris Reitan’s would be unearthed if the biggest Tour went global?
PGA TOUR@PGATOUR

Get to know - Kristoffer Reitan -- solo leader @TruistChamp Born in 1998 in Oslo, Norway Introduced to the game by his father. His individual amateur titles include: Valderrama Boys Invitational Italian International U16 Championship Skania Junior Open Junior Orange Bowl Championship   He grew up representing Norway and was frequently on the same national teams as Viktor Hovland. They won the 2014 Toyota Junior World Cup, a year after they finished runner-up at the European Boys Team Championship Reitan reached quarterfinals of the 2015 US Junior Amateur where Hovland was his caddie. He represented Team Europe at the 2016 Junior Ryder Cup and was one of only three visiting players to claim victory in the singles session. While still being an amateur, Reitan became the first Norwegian to qualify for the U.S. Open in 2018. Kristoffer played half a season at the University of Texas before choosing to leave and turn pro in 2018. He earned his DP World Tour card at Q-School and was the only amateur to earn status that year. He went through a rough stretch on DP World Tour where he then played on the Challenge Tour before winning the 2024 Rolex Grand Final earning his way back. Kristoffer Reitan has two DP World Tour titles: 2025 Soul Open 2025 Nedbank Golf Challenge He finished 8th in the Race To Dubai rankings and earned dual status on the PGA TOUR for 2026. Kristoffer finished T2 with fellow Norwegian Kris Ventura at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans and looks for his first PGA TOUR win today at the Truist Championship.

@Jeremy3FL @freddydoubles Yeah, no one else was confused about your point. Dude literally was invited to play in a tour event and said no. That’s a thing that happened, no confusing semantics.

@freddydoubles Well yes.. I agree with that. Next time I will choose my words more wisely so we don’t get into an argument over semantics. I think most people understand my point, but I will be more clear next time.
