I am done giving Unreal 5 the benefit of the doubt. I don't care how easy it is to work with the engine needs to be fixed or abandoned. This kind of performance people are getting with the Oblivion remaster is not acceptable. A 4090 should not be the baseline.

nintendo for some reason seems vehemently against using anti aliasing for a lot of their titles which i will never quite understand but at the very least is consistent, but for 3rd party games i don’t know why you wouldn’t JUMP at the opportunity to at least use DLAA if possible

knowing officially that the switch 2 is capable of DLSS and not having seen a SINGLE game that seems to be using it is soooo intriguing to me. the hardware seems pretty well off on its own merits which is nice, but i just wonder how much cleaner some of these upscales could look

The discourse around Veilguard is so poisoned it's almost impossible to talk about the games actual issues. They sanded off the rough edges to the point of completely ignoring broad swaths of series lore because it didn't fit their lighter tone. This annoys me.

While I won't disparage Dragon Age The Veilguard as a game I do wish it had been a spin-off or a new IP. The fact that after a decade of waiting we are never getting the story Trespasser set up, we are never getting Dreadwolf is horribly sad.
