Humanity, created by God in all its grandeur, is today facing a pivotal choice: either to construct a new Tower of Babel or to build the city in which God and humanity dwell together. In Jesus Christ, this humanity in its grandeur becomes the Way, the Truth and the Life, opening the path for each of us to grow toward fullness. #MagnificaHumanitas

@jfwduffield India trade deal - companies don’t have to pay NI, neither does the employee.
It’s about 5k per employee per year cheaper for a business to hire an Indian national 😭🤡

Why has every supermarket in Britain started employing middle aged Indian immigrants? What social or economic benefit does the country derive from that exactly?

Chris@gobshitechris
This country is an actual joke lol
English

@trevgoes4th I don't think it's a market due to it being a monopoly
Anyways, if you are a foreigner the price will be £127 with your BritRail flex pass.
Which you can then use for the rest of the day and the next day on other train routes...

English

@paint3245 that would be contrary to every other market based price in history
they get zero margin if they don't sell the ticket
English

@trevgoes4th I just want to know how they calculate that number
Feel like this one is a revenue issue and its getting a margin of 90% for this seat
English

@paint3245 the state owns everything
it just has no incentive to run them more efficiently as it has no competition
