@h00ndekot He just got his ego bruised. It’s definitely not your problem. That’s precisely the issue: people have excessive egos. Everyone focuses on physical and financial gains, has been indoctrinated since childhood to think inside the box, and is incredibly dull. All they know is work, and that’s it. Weekends, maybe some go hiking, while the rest stay home. At best, you can go out to eat three times a month because everything is outrageously priced and the service culture is terrible.

🚨 NOBODY KNOWS HOW FUCKED NATO ACTUALLY IS RIGHT NOW. In the last 72 hours, watch who walked away: 🇫🇷 France: Blocked US military overflight for weapons to Israel — FIRST TIME since war began Feb 28. Israel cut ALL defense procurement from France. 🇮🇹 Italy: Denied Sigonella air base landing to US bombers. Defense Minister said relations are "solid and loyal." DAYS after blocking US planes. 🇪🇸 Spain: Closed ENTIRE airspace to US operations. Blocked Naval Station Rota AND Morón Air Base. PM Sánchez called it "not NATO collective defense." 🇵🇱 Poland: Refused to redeploy Patriot batteries. US burned through 1,200+ interceptors in 16 days. Poland said no. 🇨🇭 Switzerland: Denied 2 US reconnaissance flights. Suspended $120,000,000 in weapons exports under "neutrality laws." 🇬🇧 UK: PM said "this is not our war." Trump told them to "build up some delayed courage." 🇩🇪 Germany: President Steinmeier called war "possibly illegal." WHILE hosting Ramstein — largest US base outside America. That is: France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Switzerland, UK, and Germany. All in ONE week. When this many allies abandon you at once, it's not a disagreement. It's a collapse.

@qkzrPinch @49GoldBlood49 @LangmanVince No one would care if we pull out of NATO. Retard. NATO is not holding our country together. Lmao The US was funding 70% of the NATO budget and we already stopped that and no one cares. Us leaves NATO, the only people fighting will be each other in Europe.

@trwsenti I recently heard 9 to 5 means 9 hours a day 5 days a week. Not sure if it's true but that makes sense given that 9 to 5 isn't full time of it was clock time.

nobody told me this when I started working a 9-5: - it's not even a 9-5. every job I've had has been 8 to 6. - you get home, cook dinner, and don't feel like doing anything else for the rest of the day. then it's right back to work before you know it. - you used to play guitar. you used to read books. you used to work out. they just slowly get phased out of you and you don't even notice it happening. - you eat lunch at your desk because the job is understaffed and you have too much to do. that "1 hour break" they sold you doesn't exist. - you leave the house at 7. you get home at 6. you are physically and mentally exhausted. this is a "good" day. - you sit at your desk and can't get past 5 minutes without being the most bored you've ever been in your life - you feel ready to have a mid-life crisis in 3 years let alone before you turn 40 - one day you realise you're giving up 5 days of your life every single week just to have a few hours at night and 2 days on the weekend. and you just accept it.

@parkjii @Kacper_PK_CH @MichaelAArouet Very low indeed. According to the federal tax table, as a single you should earn netto ~ 190‘000 CHF a year, adding the cantonal and local taxes you get ~ 20 % of your income beeing taxed, and not ~ 14 %.

@Kacper_PK_CH @MichaelAArouet 🇨🇭: It depends on the canton where you‘re living and the income you‘re earning, the sum of the three taxes - municipal, cantonal, federal - you will pay having a range on an average income starting from ~22% in Zug to ~ 40 % in Neuchâtel

Lugano is the strange paradox no one talks about. It's Switzerland, yet it feels Mediterranean. Palm trees, lakefront cafés, and 2,300 sunshine hours per year – the most in the entire country – but with Swiss precision underneath. You get Milan in just one hour of travel and then back to order, safety, and silence the moment you return. This mix is exceptionally rare. And I think most people completely miss it. Here’s a quick breakdown: The tax structure: 0% capital gains on stocks, ETFs, and crypto (as long as you're not a professional trader). Wealth tax exists at ~0.2% – barely noticeable compared to the capital gains exemption. Income tax at 36-41%, so if you're earning a salary this isn't the play. But if your wealth comes from capital appreciation then there's no comparable jurisdiction offering 0% gains plus Swiss quality. The arbitrage: 30% cheaper than Zurich for rent, often in better and more central areas. Same Swiss infrastructure, healthcare, and safety. Better weather (2,154 vs 1,825 sunshine hours). Mediterranean rhythms instead of the 7pm shutdown. The Bitcoin angle: 360+ merchants accept BTC and USDT. City taxes payable in Bitcoin. Plan ₿ Forum draws 4,000+ participants annually. This is all operational. One key note is that each Swiss canton is basically a micro-nation with its own constitution and government. Ticino just happens to be the one where Switzerland speaks Italian. That alone makes the whole place feel like a cheat code. I filmed a full breakdown of who this works for, the Milan proximity strategy, and a full breakdown of the hidden trade-offs. Watch it here: youtu.be/dNtAZ0hit_I?si…

@AlecTorelli @ConsciousPoker Yeah, it‘s actually not that bad. Used to be there quite often. The bigger the game, the better is this rake structure. The thing is dealers make 35+ plus tips and hour so they have to rake high to even break even. Cool that you liked it!

@parkjii @ConsciousPoker It's steep no doubt. They also manually count the pot before pushing it to you after each hand. It slightly slows the game down, but more, reinforces how much they're raking per hand. Can def improve systems, but still a good time.
