@TwinkRegimer A large part of it is zoomers expecting to live a Ritz-Carlton lifestyle and wanting to vacation in Cabo or Disney while older generations were staying at Motel 6 and vacationing in Galveston.

It is actually kind of funny how historically illiterate these low IQ dumbfucks are about the actual 1930s-40s nazis. It's national healthcare, and welfare, and social programs, and collectivism, and confiscating profits, and nationalizing industries, and so forth. Then in addition to that was all the racist/eugenics bullshit. And for that Graham Platner getting a fucking Totenkopf is like reaching for the stars. That's for assholes who think swastikas aren't hard core enough. But these useful idiots have been taught their whole life nazi=right wing, and these dummies run around the internet thinking that the modern American right/left corresponds perfectly with the previous centuries European right/left, because that's quick, easy, and useful for American democrats. They don't know that most of the actual nazis started out as socialists of one flavor or another and their party evolved from there. So it is super easy to find quotes from any democrat "advocating for nazi idelogy", because most of their bullshit matches up just fine. Graham Platner is just a white democrat who said the quiet part out loud.

This is a normie list for anime tourists. Perfect blue at #2 is a joke; it's not even that bad, just a real basic artsy psycho thriller. It's a good anime, but #2 on most disturbing is just laughable. Mostly everything aside from Shoujo Tsubaki is just mainstream edgy anime... things that modern reddit-coded tourists think is horrific, and even Shoujo Tsubaki belongs at like #5 or something. It's missing some real disturbing ones... Like Gantz (Manga is worse), Pupa, Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne, Kite, Genocyber, Violence Jack, Bible Black, Euphoria, Urotsukidoji, and so many others that are just banned in many countries for their "atrocious" themes that can really scar your mind. Berserk (that one scene doesn’t carry it), Monster, Elfen Lied, Serial Experiments Lain, and Shiki (mid atmospheric vampire stuff with some violence) don’t even belong on the list at all. Even Tokyo Ghoul had scenes that made you go WTF...
