Are Teen Takeovers a Symptom of Bad Parenting or is Social Media to blame? Hundreds of teenagers organize in minutes via TikTok and Snapchat. They swarm malls, parks, beaches, and streets. This leads to fights, damaged property, and overwhelmed police. Parents Blame Social Media. Platforms do reward outrageous behavior with likes and views. Viral posts and AI flyers turn bored teens into flash mobs. BUT Many teens also lack supervision and structure at home. Past generations faced boredom without shutting down public spaces.
