Physician Associate
@physicianassoci
Physician Associate no longer happily working for a GP surgery.

To say that I am shocked about this job advert is is an understatement @nottmhospitals I hope you realise how complex and vulnerable Haem patients are, and how utterly dangerous this is, letting medically unqualified people play registrar in an extremely complex speciality 1/

You refuse to negotiate and then call doctors “unreasonable” for not settling. £17.56/hour to run wards, save lives, and work through chronic understaffing. After 15 years of pay erosion, they’re asking for fairness. What’s not reasonable is slamming the door, then blaming them for walking away.

If PAs turned out to work then we'd need fewer doctors. Doctors' union doesn't like PAs. We are surprised, right?
