@smashbaals I think it has to do with Peter. They didn’t believe or think Peter was married and that he was the founder of the first church. So they believe any pope is a descendant of Peter and maybe the priests have to mimic that sacrifice as well? Idk.

There are no Bible verses that make celibacy a requirement of a pastor However there is one that says pastors to be husbands of one wife So why do Roman Catholics require their priests to be celibate if the Bible doesn’t?

If this is allowed in our public schools then I’m calling on teachers who identify as, or are an ally to the Christian Community to hang Christian flags and crucifixes on their classroom doors and classroom walls in our public schools as well. If one community group can do this, others should be able to do it as well. Fair is fair. (Or we could just ban all propaganda and flags from our schools except for the US flag and the Indiana state flag. But that’s just too much common sense for some people.)

@sola_chad Catholic here. That is not taught anywhere in the Bible (Apocrypha or otherwise), by the Magisterium, or in the Catechism. It's an extrapolation that some small number of people make that needs to be corrected. This guy is a moron, rage baiting, engagement farming, or all 3.
