@piedrosovargas 500 cal increase/day, and will hold that for this week and next, then add 250 on training days for another week or two, and just see what weight does to try to get a better estimate of maintenance

@raven_brah @JoshRainerGold Yeah before I had been following conventional wisdom and eating 40-50g of protein 5x a day with every meal. But now I'm doing around 0.6-0.65g protein per lb bodyweight and still gaining muscle just fine.
Started doing 20g grassfed beef collagen too, joint/tendon pain mostly gone

2 years later and it’s never been bigger. Sugar is more popular than ever. Focusing on the metabolic rate is the clearest way to health. Can’t stop it.

@Thermobolic how about muscle gain? Once I get as lean as I want, should I just bump protein/fats and keep sugar the same?
Rn I have lose fat and gain muscle, I have been doing carnivore for 6 months, could I expect the same when switching? Thank you very much, appreciate you taking the time

@piedrosovargas I did what you are doing and switched cold turkey. Went from low carb to drinking a gallon of OJ / day. I gained a lot of water weight. Took me a bit to get used to it. Maybe ease into it, but either way it's going to be an interesting transition

@Thermobolic Thank you so much, and do you advise easing in to it? Upping up the carbs slowly? Or just switch cold turkey?

@piedrosovargas I'd cut fat even lower to 50g and up the carbs, but you could try it. Expect to gain some weight in the beginning. You'll be storing a lot of muscle glycogen.
