When news of this filtered out to his brothers, Sameh Al Ahmed and Hozaifa Al Ahmed, who were both living in the Middle East at the time, they both immediately booked flights to Australia. They then reached Sydney and both immediately began living with Mr Al Ahmed and their father at a home in Bankstown. Police allege the relationship between the siblings quickly broke down when they started demanding a slice of the money, causing Mr Al Ahmed to leave the family home and move to another address in Sans Souci. It is alleged Hosaifa phoned his brother on May 7 and said “if you’re a man, you would come here. I will put your head under my boot, break your other arm and smash your face. We will only leave if you give us $100,000 each” “This situation is going to get worse for you,” Hosaifa allegedly said. “If you want peace of mind and to be safe, you will give us $100,000 each,” Sameh allegedly replied. Both men were charged with using a carriage service to harass or offend and were granted conditional bail despite being on tourists visas. The duo fronted Bankstown Local Court for the first time on Wednesday, when they entered pleas of not guilty. Tony Burke did not comment on whether their visas would be cancelled.

@realsiff You are now understanding the root of it.....that is where the laws are made too without understanding other cultures..... Like for example Konkan region doesn't have a dowry custom and the marriages are very simplistic, but that's not taken into consideration.

India has a North India problem or Hindi problem. Lack of dignified behaviour and feudal mindsets are so prevalent. Hurling bad or vulgar language in social media is like favorite sport of many Hindi bhashis. Bengalis, Tamils, Kannadigas, Odias do not do this, though they have much more creative bad words.

There is a subset of the aspirational class of Marathis in MH who think speaking in Hindi makes them more sophisticated, and knowing Hindi is some achievement. They have weird pride in bending over for nationalistic interests. Truly weird people - no other state's people behave like this; they balance nationalism with regionalism. Some even think speaking Marathi is vernacular

Before it, you lived your life in blissful ignorance, heard leaderji's speeches about amrit kaal, felt genuinely proud of being born in a 10 gorillion-year-old civilization undergoing its grand revival under visionary sattvic boomers, and never had to confront the fact that a German plumber or a Canadian truck driver lives in a bigger house, drives a newer car, and takes three vacations a year on a salary that would be considered modest over there. Before smartphones, the gora's life was an occasional intrusion - like a Hollywood film you saw once in a month. Or maybe a rare trip abroad once in five years. Perhaps a distant NRI relative who came back smelling of foreign soap and talking about "quality of life." You could file it away as exceptional, irrelevant, not your frame of reference. The sarkari school textbooks told you India was rising, the TV told you India was great, and there was no algorithm serving you a continuous drip of what $60,000 per capita life in 1st world countries actually looks like in daily practice - the wide roads, the clean footpaths, the accountant who owns a boat, the wagie who takes his family skiing. Now it's inescapable. Every morning you wake up and the feed has already done the comparison for you without your consent. Some gora in a small Austrian town is doing a house tour and his garage alone is larger than the average Delhi flat. A blue-collar guy in Ohio is complaining about his "rough month" and you're doing the math and realizing his rough month is someone's Delhi upper-middle-class dream. A 22-year-old in Norway is talking about burnout from his part-time job that pays what a senior Indian software engineer makes after fifteen years of grinding. Indian Neo was perfectly happy being plugged into the Matrix, but the Internet forced him to swallow the black pill without his consent.

Many seem to not know that amongst major cities of India, Mumbai has the lowest proportion of Hindus at ~ 60-65%. For some reason (SS presence perhaps) in the minds of non Mumbai BJP fans, it is thought of as a overwhelmingly Hindu: it is not. Kolkata on the contrary is 77% Hindu

@AgentOfAnarchie We invaded their spaces, we used them to the fullest, and then due to technological advancements abandoned them. Same thing happened with pigeons who were used for sending letters then they became dependent on humans, and we abandoned them. So its not like you say it is.

Why are so many Indians in favour of stray animals??? How are they helping anyone?? They just create nuisance , worsen traffic and stray dogs are pretty dangerous. Cows too are always eating garbage. I really don't see how this helps anyone honestly
