@JJ_McCullough Control most likely. Look at who is most resistant, then look who their constituents/donors are; if not that, then it’s control by special interest groups or corporations.

🟥 I don't know much about the Woodstock Police but somebody needs to tell them that here in Canada, we respect our Police Services and hold them to a high standard and expect them NOT to participate in political activities and divisiveness when in uniform, and on duty.
This is not America. We're not under MAGA rules here.

Yep. He is still a MP.
The guy who lost his riding after doing nothing for 20 years then flew to Alberta just to hang on to a seat.
Pierre Poilievre@PierrePoilievre
Yep. He’s still a minister. The guy who wants to end road building, pipelines, oil, gas, nuclear and pretty much everything else. Wonder why nothing is getting built?

@TheElev8Podcast Most of those contrary minded are… well, they’re working and don’t have time or the type of jobs that allow for answers surveys and calls.

@WeAreCanProud Taking a baseball bat to the product in the bags would be fine; just destroying your own product.

@cafreeland Ummm what has been happening for the last decade??

This week, we launched consultations with industry, businesses, and labour representatives to help shape regulations for the Free Trade and Labour Mobility in Canada Act. Regional roundtables have kicked off in Calgary and Toronto, and will continue across Canada this month. By cutting federal red tape and reducing internal trade barriers, we’re lowering prices and building the strongest economy in the G7.

@cafreeland Nothing about what created the crisis to begin with? Fix that first.

@338Canada It’s bizarre, I’ve seen these posts from a small group of folks, have offered a friendly wager that cons will win… but no one takes me up… almost like they don’t believe what they post 🧐

📊New Léger poll confirms Liberal surge and suggests Mark Carney could be a real threat to the Conservatives.

@cafreeland Hard no…. 9 years has shown what you will do. #weknowwhatyoudidlastsummer

@JJ_McCullough It’s truly bizarre; outside of bankers/big biz and poli geeks like me, he doesn’t have any presence or recognition. That fact he’s being pushed as a credible alternative is baffling. That’s even without getting into the “central banking” narrative. #whoisacarney?
English

I find this odd. Carney is not a household name. Polls say most voters can't recognize his face. His only boosters have been elite pundits, and even then not much. I don't get why he would be popular, unless "anything but Trudeau" is truly a mighty force.

@RodKahx Two of the three are lying… let’s have that election now and find out 👍🏽
English

@JJ_McCullough In desperate need of electoral reform… these shenanigans have to come to an end! Embarrased as a Canadian 🫤 for our politics
English

Well, there it is. The NDP is back to negotiating with the Liberals.

English

@cafreeland Those are good, but why haven’t you taken that stance in the last 8 years or so? This sound like “electoral reform” promises you fooled us with before 🧐
English

@JigglyPants44 I dont think they did stop… I’m sure a non confidence vote will be too of list as soon as government returns. It’s interesting to watch a party desperately to remain relevant. Resume parliament, let’s find out, open to friendly wagers 👍🏽
English

And the screams for an immediate election suddenly stopped
