The Abraham Global Peace Initiative (AGPI) condemns the actions of Pedro Sánchez, who has crossed every diplomatic line by withdrawing Spain’s ambassador from Israel while reopening its embassy in Tehran. Greece is historically a maritime nation with 6,000 islands and the longest coastline in the Med, yet has the smallest maritime area of jurisdiction in the world.
The reason behind this: a 🇹🇷 threat of war should Greece chooses to exercise its sovereign rights in the Aegean.

And by International Law, Turkey has no saying in the decision of Greece to extend its Territorial Waters.
Turkey shows pettiness, jealousy and animosity by interfering on a matter that she has no saying in the first place.
As for turkish warships, they can either pass thru Greek waters in safe transit according to UNCLOS or can find alternate routes to international waters without entering Greek Waters.

There is a massive difference between sailing through International High Seas and sailing through Greek Territorial Waters. Currently, a Turkish warship can zigzag through without any limitations.

"Landlocked" is the wrong term in this case.
Turks often use the terms "blockaded" or "encroached," yet both terms are silly, mataphorical, theatrical and IRRELEVANT.
Irrelevant, because Turkey will not be any more "encroached" or "blockaded" after Greece extends Territorial Waters to 12 nm than it already is.
Because the islands have always been there. Geography will not change after Greece extends its territorial waters to 12nm, and UNCLOS provides for unimpeded maritime traffic to all.
