The fellowship opportunity that you all have been waiting for! 😀 We are pleased and proud to announce the inaugural @csoncol Fellowship in Cancer Policy based at @queenscce in Kingston, Ontario but with the opportunity to work with CSO leaders from all over the world. This fellowship aims to foster clinical thinkers in oncology who can lead the future of CSO movement. Applications will be entertained until October 15. Dr. Brooke Wilson:   The use of routinely collected administrative data sets for economic analyses of clinical trials presents a unique opportunity that could complement and validate economic analyses based on trial-level data.

Our study highlights the trade-off with new effective therapies, for which there are greater health care costs and time toxicity but an associated improvement in patient survival.

Certain racial minorities remain under-represented, and clearer reporting of race and ethnicity is needed.

Dr. Brooke Wilson: The lack of sociodemographic diversity in clinical trials limits the generalizability of results. Among FDA approvals between 2010-2021, no significant differences in PFS or OS outcomes were identified when the analyses were stratified by sex or race.
