Kudos to the conductor on my 2 carriage @CrossCountryUK standing from Derby train this morning trying desperately to get people off the train to give the people at wilnecote “a fighting chance” of getting on - but he shouldn’t have to! PS no chance!!! @SamanthaNiblet4

@CrossCountryUK the irony that the conductor can only walk through the train to count passengers when it’s a random day/time train and can’t do it when it’s a normal two carriage/cancelled/standing room only train! one way to fudge passenger figures!

2 for 2 this week @CrossCountryUK That i’ve spent £25 to stand for 40 minutes to Birmingham on a 2 carriage train!! Sub-sub-standard service! @SamanthaNiblet4

@CrossCountryUK @SamanthaNiblet4 I should have known yesterday (3 carriages AND a seat from Willington) was an aberration!! Back to 2 and standing - in 3 weeks that’s 1 ok out of 7 trips!!! Broken trains, broken system, cattle have more rights!!!

@racheltitley @CrossCountryUK @SamanthaNiblet4 The fact your first train to Birmingham is 0745 is appalling! Seems a big omission. Plus the train which runs from Derby an hour earlier, and ought to have a timetabled stop, has for the past 2 days been 4 carriages. The irony, eh?

@CrossCountryUK @SamanthaNiblet4 no point! i’ve complained before & been told i have no right to a seat & even if i did i’d only receive a 5% rebate for not being able to use it!! A man with crutches that couldn’t sit, people sat on the floor & unlike the tube no ceiling handholds H&S nightmare if a crash

@EastMidRailway Station displays at Willington have been stuck on this screen for two days (at least) No live train information

Reporting a maintenance issue on carriage 50113 (currently travelling to Burton from Brum delayed 18:09) the open button has a fault (partially broken lit surround) and the carriage dividing door has opened & closed next to me (standing again) every 20 seconds the whole time!

@RailTruthUK is this a licensing issue? I assume @CrossCountryUK own their own trains. I want to ensure I raise my complaint on the correct basis

@racheltitley Hi, CrossCountry has a regular overcrowding problem on their routes. Despite this, the Department for Transport still refuse to provide them with more rolling stock. Complaints should be made to your local MP about this

Two carriages again on a rush hour route to Birmingham from Willington??!! Seriously @CrossCountryUK do you have any sort of regard for your paying customers??? Standing on the train already before it pulled into my station- H&S, no apology again!!!
