And don't come at me talking about Jurassic Park. Monster movies, while not necessarily horror, have long been in the same realm as horror and horror-sci-fi, and JP is clearly at least a monster movie.

Having FINALLY watched Joker, I can safely say I don't consider a single, solitary bit of it to be horror or horror-adjacent. Just being violent & having kills doesn't qualify (this was closer to a Scorsese movie). Please never, ever expect a Kill Count of it. Sorry! ❤️
