@SquarespaceHelp did you guys change your chat software? It's slow to pop up, responses are slow, and I can't seem to get to a human. I used to be able to chat to a human in like no time flat, but now I'm stuck in some sort of automated bot loop. What is going on???

@duolingo Hey thanks for that. I actually created the account for her, but I can't seem to see an email in any of my email accounts. Any way I can verify with you privately what parental email was used?

@raylai_markham Yes looks like when she created the account, she did input an age under 13 so there are social restrictions. An email was sent to the parent email (they need to input the parent email at account creation) detailing this. We can lift it with parental approval

@Sara_Fruman Had experience with both. @Squarespace has a better UI, features updated more often, and more flexibility when it comes to custom scripting. I've flipped clients from Wix to SqSp, but never the other way around.

I migrated my website to the squarespace. In the process I have screwed up my email. So there's that. If you haven't heard from me it's because I'm trying to fix it.

@maracharese @squarespace @Shopify If you're looking for similar WYSIWYG capability in Shopify, look into @Shogun. Takes some getting used to, but gives you a lot of ability to make content changes easily without coding (just like SqSp). Sorry about the unsolicited advice. This somehow ended up in my wheelhouse.

@maracharese @squarespace @Shopify No doubt. SqSp has it's strengths, ditto Shopify. They're very mutually exclusive. Which begs the question, why not both? Run your marketing website on SqSp and run Shopify as a subdomain of your store. A little more work, and slightly more $$, but may be worth it.

@maracharese @squarespace = Great webpages made painlessly, simple Ecomm. @Shopify = Great Ecomm, Great webpages but requires pain and suffering (sometimes). We suggest clients switch to Shopify when Ecomm sales, fulfillment, $$$ are priorities. Otherwise, SqSp is a great marketing tool.
